Entries:
Registration materials can be found at www.aikeneventhorsesale.com. Copy of negative Coggins within 12 months must accompany entry. 

Horses are required by law to have a valid 30-day health certificate and proof of rhino/flu vaccine within 6 months upon check-in at the Sale.

Scratches:
Scratches are refundable prior to the closing date, less a $50 administrative fee; scratches must be made in writing by email or mail and received by 5 P.M. on February 6th, 2008. Scratches or withdrawals after closing date are non-refundable.

Radiographs:
Radiographs are recommended and encouraged, but not required.

Transaction Fee:
Horses sold at the Sale or within 45 days of the Sale are required to pay a transaction fee. The transaction fee is 3.5% of the horse’s reserve price.

Inclement Weather Plan:
It is the intention of the AEHS to run the Sale if it all possible. If there must be a delay, we plan to postpone until the following day.

Admission for Spectators:
$25 for both days
Additional cocktail party tickets at $35/ person will be available for purchase at the Sale.

Tentative Schedule:
Tuesday: 1-3pm check-in for Buyers and Sellers and open schooling
Wednesday: Morning hack, presentation horses in hand, schooling, trial rides
Thursday: Schooling, trial rides

Schedule will be available online Monday, Feb. 18, 2008  at www.aikeneventhorsesale.com.

Veterinarians:
Veterinarians will be available on-site throughout the Sale.

Stabling:
Stabling will not be available on the grounds of the Aiken Event Horse Sale. Full Gallop Farm no longer has stalls available at this time. Please contact the Aiken Event Horse Sale for assistance with stabling arrangements.

Riding Areas:
Schooling areas will have a variety of show jumps and cross-country jumps, including water, ditches and banks. There is a sand arena and a grass jumping field and both will be used for the Sale.

Directions to Aiken Event Horse Sale:
From Aiken – Proceed on SC-4/Wagener Road (302) out of Aiken. Travel approximately 12 miles, then turn left to stay on SC-302. Continue for 5.5 miles and turn left on Shadow Lane Road (dirt road). Continue until stop sign. Stay straight at the stop sign. Farm is 1.25 miles on left.
From I-20 (East or West) - Take exit 33 for SC-39. Take Old 96 Indian Trail/SC 39 south for
9 miles. Turn right at Shadow Lane Road. Shadow Lane Farm is .5 mile on the right.

Other Information:
Wednesday Night Cocktail Party from 7-9 pm.

Directions to Cocktail Party: From historic Aiken town center take Richland Avenue (Rt. 78 east) for about 0.6 miles, turn right on Horry St. Party is at 137 Horry St. the 5th house on the right.

Dogs MUST be leashed at all times on Sale grounds.
Lunch will be available on grounds and is included with admission.
